Joe Russo: A lovely scene between these two, really highlights the platonic nature of their relationship but with real, deep - I think there’s actual love there that’s like a brother and a sister.
Steve McFeely: They’ve also changed each other. She’s blown all her covers in large part because Steve has shown her that maybe you shouldn’t live such a morally murky life. She’s trying to push him towards Emily VanCamp.

LOLOLOL OKAY THEN. BROTHERS AND SISTERS WHO WANT TO BONE EACH OTHER LIKE A HURRICANE, MAYBE.

Sevensneakyfoxes, I love you.
Yeah… Brothers and sisters “look each other “that” way” *sarcasm*
I think sometimes actors have such a great chemistry that they can’t really play siblings. Like Scarlett and Chris… nope, no, that is not platonic, it is NEVER gonna be platonic, and I SWEAR TO YOU GUYS, when I watched that stupid MTV movie. What’s it called? The perfect score? Anyway, I WAS TOTALLY ROOTING FOR THEIR CHARACTERS TO GET TOGETHER… The kids from the fault in our stars, they have chemistry but it’s not this kind of chemistry, so when you see them playing siblings you still buy it.
However, I also think that the director could still work with this kind of chemistry and build a platonic relationship with it and the Russo brothers were so close to the project, they didn’t see what was happening.
I honestly wasn’t looking for it when I went to see CA:WS, but it sort of clicked for me while watching the movie, you know? You look at them and their contrast is sooo appealing as a romantic couple. I love their bro-like relationship, but I can’t unsee the possible romance in here.
I can see the Russo brothers weren’t looking for Romanogers, seeing as they took the time to cast Agent 13, who’s, supposedly, his love interest in the movie, but the Cap and Sharon share like maybe, with a little luck, a full minute of screen time. And if they are the end game for CA3, they really should’ve pushed it a bit more in this movie, so I can buy them getting together in CA3. But that was not the case. They kept exploring the Cap’s relationship with Sam, with Bucky and specially with Natasha, with whom he spent most of his time in the movie.
How do they expect us to stop seeing the Romanogers??
I know a lot of people don’t see it, and I know it’s probably never gonna happen with all of Russo’s comments about their platonic relationship, but I’m sorry. I CANNOT UNSEE IT.
